claim last year. Paid my £50 excess and sent it off via Royal Mail Special Delivery. A brand new phone came back within a couple of days. How good is that. Have since bought a more expensive phone and this comes with a £100 excess, but this still seems reasonable when the phone is valued at nearly £800. By accident, phones can be left somewhere or dropped and excesses need to reflect this. I am more than happy to recommend Tinhat for your phone insurance. The customer service from the team is second to none and reassuring.

Absolutely dreadful customer service. Once you buy the policy, they are not interested. They will take days to reply to emails and they will look for any excuse not to pay. Consider other policies, Tin Hat was recommended to me so I only briefly read the small print without realising that even if your phone is brand new and under manufacturers warranty, they expect you to send it to them instead and they will "endeavour" to fix it with original parts "where possible" DREADFUL!!!

I have had a great experience with Tinhat and wanted to write a review for others. I lost my mobile phone whilst on a long weekend in Spain. I told the company on monday and had my new phone by Thursday. Everyone I spoke to over the phone was extremely helpful. I spoke to Oscar P and Gemma W so I hope they get recognition for excellent customer service. They were exceptionally clear and helpful. I paid extra for loss cover so I knew I was covered. Make sure you take out the correct insurance and if you ever have the misfortunes I did I hope you get the same service I did.

Put a claim in on Tuesday claim accepted on Thursday, I sent phone off Friday. I have just received it back today that is an exceptional turn around, can not complain about the service I received thank you tinhat
