Memoria Funerals

Stephen was brilliant. We had the initial chat then I told him I’d got terminal cancer. No gushing sentiments just straight forward talk and advice with appropriate humour thrown in on both sides. Memoria was the first place I rang and I was so impressed with Stephen's knowledge and understanding that I didn’t bother researching any other companies in the 4 days grace we agreed that I would think about it. He phoned me back 4 days later, just as agreed, and I signed up

I was recommended to Memoria through a family member after my father died. I called them late at night very caring. They kept me up to date with all the process funeral arrangements they were in contact regularly I was talking with Sue Willis throughout very nice lady, Also the thanks to celebrant Jane great service and Paul who took care of my father on the day of the funeral in a very professional manner. Thank you from my family ??

My husband and I decided that we wanted to take out a pre-paid no fuss funeral plan. We explored several companies and in the end settled on Memoria. From first point of contact it was clear this was a professional and considerate company. We had several calls with their representative Marc Winter who was professional, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. Marc was able to answer all questions and put our minds at ease. There was no pressure to take out a plan with Memoria, he gave all the facts both positive and negative giving food for thought where appropriate. We certainly didn’t feel we were talking to a ‘salesman’. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer and respectful chap to deal with in regards to such a personal matter. Would highly recommend Memoria. My mother was cremated at their Waveney facility last year and the staff involved were second to none and their environment is beautiful and peaceful. Can’t praise them enough.

I contacted Memoria to discuss a funeral plan and arranged a call back convenient to myself. The call was early and inconvenient so I did not answer and waited for my requested slot. They did not call at the allocated time. They called again later, to which I asked to be contacted at another time convenient to me. This happened again. I decided that I did not want to deal with a funeral company with poor time keeping. However, I continued to be hounded by them with many calls and now I am being bombarded with spam emails, one almost every 30 mins. I will be making a further complaint to the relevant association.

As promised, they rang back within 1 hour of contacting them. The process was explained slowly and fully. Their prices were very competitive and the service offered was far superior than a main one advertised on TV. The only additional possible cost was mentioned on 2 occasions to make sure we understood everything. The money paid is protected by the financial services. So we paid our money for 2 direct funerals on the spot with the knowledge the price will be the same no matter when we eventually need their services
