I am delighted that Energise Africa has enabled me to invest money in a way that can directly help people and the planet. I have been investing for two years and I have received all payments plus interest as promised in the Offer documents. No complaints; just plaudits!
I have used Energise Africa for many years to invest in renewable energy projects in Africa. They generally have higher than normal returns but are not risk free. Most have paid back on schedule. but a few have indicated delays in repaying. So it is good if you want to support socially beneficial projects but remember that it is not risk-free.
Provides a valuable and easy to use service and helps people who care about Africa for whatever reason and / or climate change to put some money where their mouths are….
Great system to invest in very worthy causes. Platform is super easy to navigate and see the key information about new offers and then choose to invest. Have recently set up an IFISA and it was very simple since I was already registered.
LACK OF TRANSPARENCY ON 17.5 % OVERDUE ACCOUNTS AND POOR COMMUNICATION. There are many warnings on the website about investment risk but the key statistic that 17.5% of loans are overdue and 1.6% written off is buried right at the bottom of the front page...you need to know where to look! The significant overdue loans figure should be highlighted at the top of the home page but this of course conflicts with marketing new Investments... A significant number of investors are likely to lose money on future loans of this type..an ethical company should treat potential Investors ethically by giving them easy to find material information! When loans become overdue communication is pretty sporadic. There is often over a year between updates! Both these issue were raised in a phone call with the CEO Lisa Ashford over a year ago and in my have not been adequately addressed !!
