At Physics Owls, Latoya helps students and teachers understand physics concepts, access learning materials and resources, and offer full worked solutions to multiple choice questions. Her physics tutoring for students is excellent as she has over 10+ years experience, is Oxford qualified, and holds multiple degrees in physics and maths. She helps students increase their confidence, understanding, and application of knowledge which leads to increases of 1-2 grades on average. She also helps with personal statements, research projects, university entrance tests, and interview practice. In addition, we are in the process of developing and delivering our Oxbridge courses which employ the Oxbridge learning method, allowing your child to experience what it would be like to study at Oxford or Cambridge.

I had a more than pleasant learning experience with Latoya. She made physics easier to understand and enjoyable. Her teaching technique works well with me as she is flexible and tries to understand teenagers like me and adjust the way she approaches her students. She is also less strict than most teachers I've met before but she still keeps me in line. I managed to learn more from her during the time I've had her as a teacher than other physics teachers. I think I am more than lucky to have had her as my teacher, especially physics as it is a pretty tough subject.
Latoya has a unique way of teaching, which is very hard to find nowadays. She has the talent of being able to explain complex information in a simplified matter without losing any of the key points and then gradually adding more to it, making it easy for the person she is tutoring to understand. When teaching, her goal is to teach her students in an enjoyable way, so that their interest for the subject grows and they feel motivated to dive deeper into the medium, eager to learn more. She is also very patient and her students’ wellbeing is of utmost importance for her. She is truly one of the best teachers I’ve had up until now.
Latoya is the best tutor I’ve seen so far, she made physics easy to understand and clear. She helped me with every single part of physics that I don’t understand, she’s very patient at explaining the subject. She helped me until I understand the problem and her tips in breaking down the questions helped a lot than other tutors that I’ve been taught before.
It was key to get a great grade on my A-levels physics. In the beginning I was really struggling with maths and physics concepts. So the program helped me to build the fundamentals and to understand how to score more points in my exams.
Latoya has helped me not only with A2 materials but also went through A1 materials all in one year. The learning experience I've had with her for physics was far better than with any other physics teacher I've ever had. She is incredibly patient, understanding and kind to everyone as well as make physics easy to understand.
