Fitness Genes

I love FitnessGenes! I am learning so much about why my body is the way it is, whether it's how well my body absorbs nutrients to sleep cycles or exercise for my body type. It reinforces how individual we all are and knowing my unique genetic makeup can help me maximize my health journey.

There is simply no back up to this, you get a detailed report that is great but then nothing else apart from trying to sell you more. I have emailed a couple of times re taking on an extra plan but wanted a little more help on specifically what would work for me, surely that is the whole idea of it, to be tailored. I bought a 12-week plan for weight loss but it really isn't helpful just a diary of standard exercises, no explanation, at no point did it say you had to have a gym membership to complete this, I do have one but the exercises make no sense.

I found it very easy to upload my DNA file from ancestry and the fitness genes analysis came back within an hour. There is so much information and the structure of presenting the DNA traits, then giving insights and specific relevant actions is a powerful tool. Looking at the information gives me realistic actions. Much of the insight rings true and explains some of my life experiences. This is great as whilst it exposes risks it also gives solid fact-based actions I and potentially my close relatives can take.

I'm happy to say that these folks are just brilliant. We had a major problem with the test details (not caused by them) and they fixed it with the minimum of fuss. I appreciate we don't want these tests, but whilst we need them, companies like this are making it that bit easier. And thank you to Kelsey who was super helpful.

Very detailed report. Interesting reading and clearly laid out. Looking forward to implementing some changes. Some of the results are as expected but some surprises and some that make me think ‘oh that’s why!’
