Had a great tour guide with us yesterday name David. He's very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting facts about the pubs and places we invited along in the tour. Lovely chap, we had many pleasant conversations with him and had a nice time despite the crowd in this peak season. We ended up even going to a tavern he recommended in the tour for dinner - which made our evening in Oxford even better. We were unable to take the tour due to one member of our party tripping over uneven paving stones and having to be checked out in hospital. I read the terms and conditions and assumed that refunds were never paid, based on what was written in Term 1. I complained to the company. They replied, referring me to another term/condition that allowed for refunds under special circumstances. I sent in the tickets and was informed that a refund had been processed. Thank you City Sightseeing for resolving the issue so quickly!
a “hop on hop off” tickett in Oxford. Included in the ticket was a guided tour on foot around the colleges. Chris Cochran was a really good and fantastic guide. He had so much knowledge and love for the city, it was a pleasure. We learned a lot and saw many places. Was even revommended a great old pub to try out. The pub was good We have enjoyed our tour a lot. Give it a go.
I always try to take an open top tour when I go to a new city. What stood out for me about this one was the friendly, helpful drivers and tour guides, including Linda. Great ambassadors for the bus company and city.
Made the most of an inset day around the City we do live locally but often don’t see all the sights. The kids commentary was great for kids perspective! I would recommend getting on and off to see the top sights to make the most the day.
