Shred It

It was not a smooth process to request an additional extra collection. Confirmation email response time & subsequent collection date were lengthy. We thought our 'usual' bag size would be collected, it was actually much smaller and the collection driver was unhelpful

I have contacted Shred it this morning and spoken with Shaf and found him to be extremely helpful. He was efficient and informative and my query was managed without delay. Thank you for your time Shaf.

Terrible company to deal with, one of the worst in my experience. I could list a whole host of issues over an extended time frame but suffice it to say I am very pleased that we have cancelled and moved to a new provider. Overcharges, poor communication, always adding fees, fuel/environmental surcharges, account managers not responding to enquiries but customer services saying that all issues need to go through the account manager! These are just the tip of the iceberg. They are not isolated incidents either, but chronic. Also, rather than having someone responding with an email address on here, just sort out the customer service system! My advice would be to avoid as there are far better options out there!

The process of picking up and removing confidential waste went smoothly. However, our issue is that in the initial email conversations with a Shred It Rep there was no mention of the fuel and environmental surcharge ie the rep quoted 'total costs' without mentioning or including this. It was however mentioned, in the small print, in the contract. I raised this as an issue with Shred IT and it was agreed they would review the emails from the Rep and get back to us. However we have had no response just a re issue of the original invoice. Disappointing from such a reputable company

We have been with Shred It for longer than anyone can remember, our firm is nearly 50 years old. We have had a number of issues, especially in the last few years. Their customer service and communication is terrible, with having to chase them repeatedly for a response, currently I am still waiting for a response from Lee from sales or Callum in customer service. Overall I find their staff rude and disinterested. Any deviation from the usual run of things you will experience an issue with them, they are very unhelpful and they also charge for "visits" they have not made and add hidden surcharge costs. They will also turn up whenever they fancy, as opposed to when you need them. This is the last straw for us, we would not recommend this company at all and will be ending our contract when we can. Very disappointing after many years of being a loyal customer.

First time I used Shredit. I spoke with one of the employees pre-booking to make sure that the right service was booked for me (things like the shredding van fitting down my lane, how many bags I might need and so on). They were incredibly helpful and I went ahead. The bags for confidential waste arrived the next day via courier. They email you a collection date which is usually a week later. My collection was delayed but this was my win (!) because it gave me longer to go through all my documents and collect everything. On collection day, the gentleman arrived on time and was really professional and friendly. I received a certificate of shredding later that day. Without doubt, I will use this company again, and will recommend it to anyone who needs to clear their confidential documents. Absolutely painless process. They were brilliant.

Extremely convenient getting confidential shredding carried out on site, along with a friendly and professional service. Shred it has acted for us very satisfactorily a few times before and we will certainly continue using Shred it from hereon. Excellent service, thank you.
