We are a holistic medical clinic focusing on informed choice regarding all aspects of perimenopause and menopause care; from lifestyle advice, over the counter supplements, to Body Identical Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) , always based upon BMS and NICE guidelines. We believe passionately about improving the lives of women. Being in the midst of our own individual perimenopausal journeys, it has become apparent that there is a significant lack of accessible information and widely available treatments for the problems associated with this important transitional stage of life. We are based in Oxford and offer face to face clinic appointments but also virtual appointments via zoom or telephone. We also offer blood tests in the clinic.
This is very helpful and care support with information will regment to all my friends.
Excellent! I wish all GPs/clinicians and GP centres/surgeries were like this. Dr Hacking and Dr Hooper are professional, competent, attentive and kind.
I am so grateful to the Oxford Hormone Clinic for the kind professional and insightful face to face appointment. Your help and medical knowledge is changing my life around. Thank you for listening and asking the right questions and helping to follow up on all the complex issues I had. Most importantly I feel so much better thank you.
Personal, professional and kind consultation. I felt listened to and comforted by knowledgeable guidance. I am only weeks into my HRT and I cannot believe the difference already. Thank you
My treatment has been tailored to my individual needs. I have had a difficult menopause and tried quite a few HRT options that haven't suited my sensitivity to some therapies. 6 years in and brain fog , little or no libido, disturbed sleep, 4 fast tracked appointments for polyps in as many years! I finally find myself on a positive course. Highly recommend the clinic
I would highly recommend going to the Oxford Hormone Clinic. I was given a very clear explanation on menopause and the benefits of HRT. I feel confident with advice and feel better on the recommended treatment.
r speedy replies to a couple of queries I had via email and she was just as reassuring. I have already made recommendations to several of my friends who are trying to make up their mind around HRT or not.
This was pretty clearly just a money making scheme. You pay your fee have a chat with a woman who is a Dr and you get what is obviously standard advice. I thought they would actually try to understand what was the best HRT for me but they just said carry on with what your GP has prescribed but you might want to up the dose. Testosterone was prescribed (which appears to be a standard response) for which a blood test is needed - I'm sure she said that she would send a letter saying I needed the blood test. When it came to it - I have to speak to my GP to arrange the blood test - since getting to see my GP is part of the problem it doesn't help to be told in order to get the medication I have to pay for (not on the NHS), I have to arrange a blood test through the NHS myself or pay another fee to have them do it. So despite paying for the medication I can't take it because I can't arrange the blood test. I wouldn't bother with this - just arrange an appointment with your GP and talk it through with them - if anything I felt more like part of sausage machine and received less individual attention with this clinic than I did with my GP. You can't interact with them at all everything is done through a portal where they post letters but you have no means of talking to them. There is no sense that this is in any way personal to me or a service.
