Complete Shambles and dangerous. Probably the most shambolic and poor patient experience I have ever had. Rude, no sympathy and little interest as opposed how they were going to be paid. I complained directly to the CEO, Ranjan... He was probably the most arrogant self-centered individual I have ever had the misfortune to converse with. THIS BUSINESS NEEDS A HEALTH WARNING. I will be taking my complaints directly to the CQC as there is no way they should be allowed to advise anyone.
Mayfield Clinic Oxford Summertown has again proven to be a great place. Doctors are professional, very knowledgeable, take the time to understand your problem and concerns, gives you next steps in what to do. Staff is courteous and nice. It's such a stress free and good experience, which is what you need when not feeling well! Worth every penny.
Absolutely shocking experience. Had a phone consultation with a GP, and they managed to not get me or my pharmacy my needed medication within the next 6 hours. I emailed them 6 times and they didn't resolve it, and they have no phone number. Truly terrible and badly run service.
I went to the Mayfield Clinic in Summertown as a sort of last resort with some tricky health issues. Dr. James Hunt took all of my concerns quite seriously and has been working with me to figure out what may be the best steps moving forward. I can tell that all of the staff really care about me and my health. The quality of care is absolutely worth the time and the price. I will be returning to Mayfield Clinic for any and all health concerns.
I had a phone consultation through my policy with BHSF for an infected foot and toenail. The appointment is booked in correctly which I didn’t know. I tried to tell the doctor that I had an infection on my foot, around the nail because she hadn’t asked me that question as part of the diagnostics, so that’s her lacking in correct and safe diagnosis rather than me the patient. So instead of asking me the right question, she raised her voice really high and aggressively in a very uncompassionate monotone way and didn’t stop when I was crying because I’m really concerned I have an infection that could go into the bone rather than come out into the skin. She then said she didn’t have the photos, but it doesn’t matter when you’re a doctor. You know how to do a proper diagnostic as your clinically trained to do so. So the service is not safe or fit for purpose. No Dr, when there are signs of infection, should be aggressively, raising the voice at a patient and accusing them of talking too much - as I am Neurodivergent with working memory deficit. I don’t understand what doctors or asking unless they’re very clear and she was not. I won’t use that service again, because I don’t recommend it - it’s dangerous and it doesn’t take into account duty of care and do no harm. I would say avoid them at all costs if you want to make sure that your infection is not becoming worse.
